The wedding is taking place Tuesday October 28th, 2025 at Rowallan Castle.

It’s a castle day for close friends and family! There will be golfing, decorating, and the rehearsal dinner. Consider it a wedding pre-game event. The bar opens at 3:30pm! Everyone is invited for golf and to hang out at the castle, just know that the main party will probably be busy going crazy decorating and prepping.

Everyone staying at the castle, and anyone involved in the ceremony (this includes officiant, readers, bridal party, and anyone walking the aisle.)

The RSVP form for attending guests has your menu options. Please select your food choices there and you will receive those options the day of… as long as you sit in your assigned seat.

We can go as late as 1am! Castle guests can stay and do as they please, all non castle guests must leave the property by 1am.

There is prosecco and beer provided during the cocktail hour, wine during dinner, a drink for toasting, and then another drink after that. The bar will be open during the wedding and you will be able to purchase your own drinks after that.

Yes! But expect everyone to be fighting over the 2 – 3 iron/steamers the castle provides.

Main castle guests have breakfast for two automatically included in their room price.

Old castle guests that wanted breakfast will have paid for breakfast as an add-on with their room. If you are unsure if you have breakfast included, please reach out!

On the ground floor there is a large room called the “breakfast room”, breakfast will be there from 9:30am – 11am.

Castle staff has assured us that it will not be cold. Either way, prepare for the worst!

DO NOT bring your own alcohol into the castle. We will be fined heavily for every failure to follow this rule. On Monday, the Castle bar opens at 3;30pm. Wedding day, there will be many drinks provided with the option to pay for more drinks after we’ve reached our drink maximum.

Yes and no! It’s called an Electronic Travel Authorization, or ETA. It takes a few days to get approve so do it as soon as possible! Please visit: https://www.gov.uk/eta/apply

…YES! If you haven’t already done so, you can pay extra to expedite, but there’s no guarantee to get it on time unless you go in person with flight detail.

Absolutely! It would have to go checked in though. And make sure to protect it in your suitcase. You can also buy it after security at the duty free stores.

Most of the time! Historically, the Scottish settled in the South so if you’re able to understand heavy Southern accents, then you should be able to understand most Scottish accents. There are different types so maybe start watching Scottish content to warm up your ears.
